Day 23 – Righteous

Hello, Divinely Defined Woman!

Today’s journey on the road to walking in our God-given identity leads us to explore the topic of “Righteousness.” From today’s reading we learned that, much like our redemption, our righteousness is not based upon anything you or I could ever do. Rather, our righteousness is based upon the fact that God sees you and me through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the only form of payment that was sufficient. It is this shed blood that washes away our sins, and presents us faultless and blameless before our Heavenly Father! Such a wonderful and invaluable gift for you and me!

With that said, do you find it a difficult concept to grasp that your righteousness is something you could never earn, and that it is only through the work of Jesus Christ that you are considered righteous?

Remember who you are: A Divinely Defined woman who is clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ!

God Bless You!

  1. Hello Mrs. Frelix. I am so glad you explained the definition of what it means to be righteous in God’s sight. I sometimes have to remind myself that righteousness is a gift from God and not anything we must earn. I am so thankful that we can enter into His presence without having to worry whether or not we are accepted because we are already made right by the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

    1. Amen to that! Recognizing that our righteousness comes from Jesus is such a freeing realization. That means we can literally be at rest in Him because we know there is nothing we could ever do to earn this type of blessing.

      Thanks for the comment!
I hope you are having a WONDERFUL day!!
